Compassionate, Informed, Integrative Care
Compassionate, Informed, Integrative Care
Are you or a loved one are struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, or problems with anger or mood swings? I can help.

I am Kara Naylor-Krupka, a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have dedicated my entire 27 year Nursing career to the specialty of Psychiatry.

My integrative approach to behavioral health and wellness focuses on treating the whole person and offers the combination of evidence-based treatment options from both conventional medicine and holistic approaches. Integrative medicine is geared to try to find the root causes of symptoms rather than managing symptoms with medication alone. This combined approach allows patients to achieve emotional and behavioral stability with the lowest dose of medication possible while considering nutritional deficiencies that may be contributing to your symptoms.
We can do as much or as little as you choose. This is the beauty of Integrative Psychiatry. The choice is always yours.
I offer my services to patients beginning at age 8 through adulthood.
I am accepting new patients for both in person and telehealth appointments with minimal wait times.

Psychiatric Evaluation consists of two parts:
•Initial Assessment/New Patient Intake Appointment (75-90 minutes) - $400:
During this first appointment, we will take the first steps in truly building a therapeutic and collaborative relationship. We will discuss your symptoms, both past and present, how they may have changed over time and also how they have impacted your life. My goal, as your Behavioral Health Provider, is to gain a sense of you and your journey, then begin to identify and target any barriers that could be holding you back from living your best life. Depending on your symptoms, I may request that you get bloodwork done, I may also request for you to sign consent forms for other providers so future collaborations can give you the level of support that you need. This is your treatment plan, this is your opportunity to take control of your health and life. Medication may or may not be prescribed during this appointment, depending on the clarity of your needs.
•Follow-up Appointments: In person or by telemedicine - (30 minutes) $175
During the beginning stages of your treatment, we will be meeting more frequently in 2-4 week intervals, usually for 30 minutes unless you prefer longer timeframes. This is done to closely monitor your progress and tolerance of medications, supplement recommendations, and any dietary adjustments that were agreed upon for your treatment plan. I will provide you with various techniques in psychotherapy as needed to help identify and move past barriers to your success. This will not replace your regular therapist if you have one. Once you begin to steadily show gains in your wellness and stabilize, we will meet less frequently, often anywhere from 1-3 months as you progress.
